Casting Parts for Residential Steel Pipe Pile
Since 2000, Astec Irie embarked on the development of
steel pipe piles, one of the methods for reinforcing house foundations,
in collaboration with Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd.
Steel pipe piles are utilized by penetrating the ground to prevent
differential settlement of buildings on weak soil.
By attaching circular fins to the tip of the steel pipe piles and giving them
a helical shape, we achieve shorter construction times and increased
load-bearing capacity, allowing for a reduction in the number of
installations required.
Furthermore, we adopted plug-type connections for joints, eliminating
the need for on-site welding. This results in improved quality and ease
of operation.
